Independent group aimed for broadening taste into less educational and more popular art. Pop art occurred at the same time with the youth and pop music. Peter Blake created the album cover for Elvis ,The Beatles, and the filmed stars such as Brigitte Bardot. But its adherents shared interest in urban consumer, modern experience.
